There are still good signs that planning progress is being made for the new airport: Lanna International Airport.
The new airport will be built in the Ban Thi District area, Lamphun Province. The district borders Chiang Mai Province. From Baan Sammi to Ban Thi, it is about 35-40 kilometers by road, or about 25 km, as the crow flies in a south-southeast direction.
For the Baan Sammi location, this means a positive development of long-term improvement without disadvantages. We assume a scenario that will have the following characteristics:
● With the construction of the new airport, the realization of planning of the new outer bypass road will become necessary more or less simultaneously (see post dated 4 March 2023).
● Given the relatively large distance to the new airport, noise pollution is expected to be extremely low or even absent.
● The currently clearly visible trend of rising property prices in the area around Baan Sammi is likely to increase.
Es gibt weiterhin gute Anzeichen dafür, dass die Planungen für den neuen Flughafen Lanna International Airport voranschreiten.
Der neue Flughafen wird im Bezirk Ban Thi in der Provinz Lamphun gebaut. Der Bezirk grenzt an die Provinz Chiang Mai. Von Baan Sammi aus nach Ban Thi sind es etwa 35–40 Strassen-Kilometer, oder ca. 25 km Luftlinie in süd-südöstlicher Richtung.
Für den Standort Baan Sammi bedeutet dies eine positive Entwicklung der langfristigen Verbesserung ohne Nachteile. Wir gehen von einem Szenario aus, das folgende Merkmale aufweist:
● Mit dem Bau des neuen Flughafens wird mehr oder weniger zeitgleich die Realisierung der Planung der neuen Außenumgehungsstraße notwendig (siehe Beitrag vom 4. März 2023).
● Aufgrund der relativ großen Entfernung zum neuen Flughafen ist mit einer äußerst geringen oder gar keiner Lärmbelästigung zu rechnen.
● Der derzeit deutlich erkennbare Trend steigender Immobilienpreise in der Gegend um Baan Sammi wird sich voraussichtlich verstärken.
